1933 Vacheron & Constantin clock tops the list at Antiquorum’s auction

Antiquorum’s auction of Important Modern & Vintage Timepieces held at the Geneva Mandarin Oriental was a smash hit. Topping the list of the lots sold was the stunning 1933 Vacheron & Constantin ‘30 days, Constant Force’ clock. This was snapped for a staggering $273,763. Its clock is an art deco masterwork with rock crystal and chrome, two-train, skeletonized clock with Philippe René Jaccard’s Swiss patent. The auction had 80 percent of the lots sold and was jam-packed with bidders. There were also interested bidders on the phone and the net from Hong Kong, Singapore, The Netherland, Belarus, China, and Japan.
