Bid for beautiful vintage luggage at Christies
With the summer just around the corner, everyone is planning their summer get-aways. An important part of this process is to get some great bags to hold your precious luggage. Here's where Christie's steps in with an auction on May 19 featuring some elegant vintage suitcases and holdalls that date back the days when travelling was chic. The auction will have some great stuff which includes a black leather semi-circular Dunhilll case (estimated at $1,150 to $1,450), two lovely canvas and leather cream Hermes suitcases (pictured and estimated at $2000 to $3000) and sophisticated Louis Vuitton monogrammed suitcases (estimated $900 to $1150).
