Dr.Carr leaves a rare Bugatti that might sell for a cool $8 million
I've always wanted an old relative to leave me a big fortune. So even thought I don't see that happening to me, it has happened to Dr. Carr's relatives. He had invested in a 1937 Bugatti Type 57S Atalante in the year for $1,252. The novel thing about this car is that it is one of the only 17 ever built. In 1960 when the car had run for 26,284 miles, its tax disc died. His relatives were aware of the fact that he had old cars, but they never thought it could be one this rare. Auctioneers Bonhams are going to put it up for sale at a reserve price of $4,373,000, but it might sell for double of that price. Dr. Carr died at the age of 89 and has also left behind an Aston Martin and E-Type Jag. His nephews and nieces are very shocked by this unexpected inheritance. This Bugatti is certainly a collector's dream.
