Faberge Eggs to honor football players are up for auction

If you love world football just like you love NBA, then its time to add to your expanding collection. Up under McTears’ Auctioneers’ hammer, Scotland is two Faberge eggs, similar to what European football players receive in honor. These two are quite special as Sarah Faberge, the great-granddaughter of Jeweler Carl Faberge created these in honor of Jimmy Johnstone and ManU’s George Best.

Crafted in enameled, the eggs are accented with silver and gold. You can open the egg to find a silver and gold figurine of the players inside. The eggs also spot the official crest used by teams in the year 1986. The presale estimate for the eggs lies between £20000 and £25000 ($27,355-$34,195).
