Michael Keaton's Batmobile on ebay auction for $500,000
The era of epic supercars is certainly not over at ebay, to add to the list is the real Batmobile from the Tim Burton-directed films starring Michael Keaton. This beast is not only for show, but it can actually run too. You would require a bat cave sized garage to park this 20-foot long and 8-feet wide car. The chassis is custom and to get in you have to be able to enter through the top where the canopy opens, just like in the movie. Five cars were designed for the movie and this car is the number five car. Also incidentally the current asking price of $500,000.
It's powered by a Chevy 350 V8, so it's fuel mileage theoretically approaches that of the fictional turbine engine.
