Rare 1938 Superman comic fetches $2.1 million

Another very rare Superman comic book of 1938 broke all records as reported by ComicConnect . This comic that features Superman’s historic debut went under the hammer for $2.16 million. The comic book has a rating of 9.0 which means it is in near-mint condition. Only 100 copies of this comic are rumored to be existing, and very few of them are in good condition. This comic also distinguishes being on the block twice before; once in 1992, it fetched $86,000 and again was sold in 1997 for $150,000. We will have to wait for and see the final bid on this very rare comic, although I suspect we won’t have to wait long. The identity of the buyer is not revealed.
