Shelby Daytona Cobra Coupe expected to fetch something between $10-$15 million

Anyone to get their hands is going to be one lucky and super rich person. What you can expect in this beauty is the chassis CPX2601 that is one of only six ever built making it a bone fide champion. Besides that, let me tell you that this is the very car that clinched the FIA GTIII championship in 1965 at Reims in the hands of Bob Bondurant against the Ferraris. The Daytona Coupe is expected to rake in a massive amount between $10 million and $15 million. If it manages to fetch anything about $10.9 million it will successfully be the most expensive classic car. Apparently, Bob Bondurant was offered the car for about $5,000, but he refused it on the grounds on the car being too beat up. Mecum auction house will host the auction on May 18 in Indianapolis.
