T.I.E. Fighter model on eBay for sale
You can add to your collection of Star Wars collectibles with this awesome model of a T.I.E. (Twin Ion Engine) Fighter. It isn't the full sized model as the one shown in the movie but rather a reduced version of the same that measures just 18" H x 14" W. These were designed by Colin Cantwell and Ralph McQuarrie. The wings of the craft are hexagonal and are made of metal sheets. The central portion is a hollow is lined with various self-lit neon blue pylons that run from hollow threaded rods. There were just four T.I.E. Fighters that were built for the movie.
A true collector will have to get this one into his collections. And that’s going to cost an obscene $170,000. How about turning into Darth Vader himself.
