Denise Rich’s NY penthouse is up for $65 million

Even though this is not the most expensive apartment to be sold in NYC, the asking price places it a close second. Songwriter Denise Rich has put up her Fifth Avenue penthouse for sale and the asking price is only $65 million. The 12,000 sq.ft duplex features seven bedrooms, 11 baths, three kitchens, grand salon, formal dining room, billiard’s room, full gym, library and two terraces. In addition to offering all the opulence, the penthouse boasts of spectaculars views of the Central Park. Denise Rich who has hosted celebrities like Stevie Wonder and Celine Dion in her apartment said ” I don’t have the need for this type of space. My greatest hope is that the next family loves and enjoys this home as much as we did.” I guess we just have to keep our fingers crossed and see what the penthouse sells for.
