It looks like the deal is all set to go through as El Pais, a reputed daily newspaper has published details of a binding contract. It seems that there have been talks with Ronaldo's agent, Jorge Mendis to bring about a deal to pay the huge transfer fee in blocks over several years. If all goes well after July 1, Cristiano will be making history.
