• Gold sculpture of model Kate Moss has been unveiled

    kate_moss_Gold_sculpture_1.jpg The much waited $2.2m sculpture of model Kate Moss has finally been revealed at the British Museum, in London. We have mentioned in our previous post about this 50kg solid gold statue, entitled Siren, would go on display in October. Now this sculpture has been unveiled at the Museum in the exhibition Statuephilia. The museum describes Marc Quinn's work as an "Aphrodite of our times" and the statue proudly sits alongside the statues of famous Greek beauties.

    Update - Gold Kate Moss sculpture by Marc Quinn fetches 577,250 GBP (about $912,000).
