“Diamonds are a girl’s best friend.” Sang Marilyn Monroe many eons ago, but this song holds good today too! Diamonds were showered on Mariah Carey and boy was she singing this song again. The songstress was recently gifted a $5.4 Million necklace just before her concert at Madison Square Garden, New York. The smitten beau is an actual prince charming; he is Prince Azim, the son of the Sultan of Brunei. The eight carat diamond and platinum necklace and matching ring was sent to Mariah by a private jet. A representative of Prince Azim told a delighted Mariah, "We were sent by private jet to deliver this gift."The latest buzz is that all the pop divas were trying to befriend as many kings and princes they could!
