Mark “Facebook” Zuckerberg leads Steve Jobs in the Forbes 400 rankings

Are you on Facebook? You are so yesterday if you’re not. And if you are you will be pleased to know that you are a part of a billion dollar empire. You don’t need to believe me, but the annual richest American rankings, the Forbes 400 has confirmed the fact: 26 year old Mark Zuckerberg valued at $6.9 billion this year has made it to no. 35 on the list. But that’s not the half of it; the bigger shocker is that he has managed to beat the likes of Steve “Apple” Jobs who is placed at no. 42 with a $6.1 billion valuation.

On paper, his company is valued at as much as $23 billion, three times the $7 billion valuations of 2009. And like all big daddy of the business, Zuckerberg is also walking the road of philanthropy by donating $100 million to Newark, N.J. schools, reports the Wall Street Journal. More reason for me to spend more time on FB!
