Jason Wu is a great young designer who is in the limelight now. His career got a nice little kick-start after Michelle Obama wore #17 from his Spring 2009 collection for her interview with Barbara Walters. This pretty number worth $3,510 is made from raw silk with hand-embroidered rosettes. The collection consists of elegant evening gowns and pretty dainty dresses with the price range varying from $1,000 to $6,000. Michelle's dress is lovely and the beautiful flowers took 100 hours of labor in a New York studio. Jason Wu has certainly been noticed now and why not when the first lady wears your creations?
