Michelle Obama's gorgeous fashion statements go on display
I think Michelle Obama is stylish and she does tend to break away from what is traditional. She let low-profile designers like Jason Wu and Isabel Toledo create dress that she could shine in at the inauguration and the evening ball that followed. She looked stunning to say the least. If you would like to see these dresses in person, you have the chance to do so. They will be on display at the Museum at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City and the Smithsonian. You can go down there and bask in the elegance of the soft yellow suit and the glow of the gorgeous white gown.
The President of the Smithsonian wrote Michelle Obama a letter requesting her to lend the museum that beautiful dress by Jason Wu. Isabel Toledo: Fashion from the Inside Out, an exhibit chronicling Toledo's career will feature the lemon yellow suit at FIT on 17th June.
