Tickets to Michael Jackson's star studded memorial service selling for $100,000
There is a memorial service today to remember Michael Jackson which will be graced by a host of stars. The tickets to this event are selling for as much as $100,000 on eBay. There is going to be line up of stars at the show which include Mariah Carey, Usher and Dreamgirls movie star Jennifer Hudson. This is not, you will also see the likes of Diana Ross, Stevie Wonder, Liza Minnelli and Elizabeth Taylor. Other celebrities who have received invitations are U.S. President Barack Obama, Justin Timberlake, Aretha Franklin and Lionel Richie. Obama won't be able to attend this event held at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles as he has just begun a trip to Moscow yesterday.
Britain's Got Talent schoolboy Shaheen Jafargholi is one of the highlights and he will be singing here. He has been invited by the Jackson family as the man himself used to be a big fan of this little wonder's tribute act. Shaheen has said, 'Michael was a huge inspiration to me. am honoured and privileged to have been invited to perform here.' It's speculated that Jackson 5 hit I’ll Be There will be performed by Mariah Carey.
