• Artist Robert Bradford creates unique dog sculptures from plastic toys

Toy_dog.jpg Remember the unique dog sculpture made of crayons by artist Herbs William? Well, here is one that definitely tops the crayon sculpture. Artist Robert Bradford has created a dog sculpture from plastic toys! Yes, this colorful Pug in the picture consists of up to 3,000 miniatures including soldiers, animals and even a Power Ranger. The former psychotherapist began building his unique sculptures four years ago. He says, “I stared into my kids' toy boxes and they made a great combination of colors, shapes and textures. It gave me the idea to turn them into new beings.” His pieces include pooches made of household brushes, a button-eared sniffer dog and a dachshund made from pan scrubs. The artist who has just finished an angel mounted with musical instruments sells his pieces for up to £12,000 ($19,500). Toy art has never been so appealing before.

Simply amazing, these sculptures are sure to be the centerpiece of any room.
