Everybody loves Dexter. It is a popular Showtime show based on a serial killer. So for all you fans of the show, Amy Lau's limited edition of Dexter Dining Room chairs will seem very appealing. The material gone into the making of this chair includes white lacquered wood and white ultraleather upholstery. Seems pretty ordinary? Check out the hand embroidered blood designs splashed on the front and back of the chairs. This gives them a rather sinister effect. To match the chairs, Amy recently designed an entire dining room for the recent Met Home Showtime House event, which transformed a Gramercy Park townhouse into six Showtime shows. Not only the Dexter chairs, but also other gruesome goodies from this kitchen like the bloody dinner plates and dismembered flatware are available for the public. I'm not sure I'd go for a blood splattered look, but whatever floats your boat.
The Dexter dining chairs range from $2500 for a side chair to $5000 for an arm chair and are signed by actor Michael C. Hall himself. You can get them at Spring Design and Art.
