ConverTTable converts a coffee table into a racing cockpit
Your living room coffee table no longer has to be a boring little piece of furniture. Instead, it can be an interactive and innovative piece of furniture. The new ConverTTable, is one such furniture that is designed to be more that an ordinary centerpiece. This cleverly designed coffee table conveniently transforms into a racing cockpit complete with pedals and adjustable wheels. It was developed over a period of two years with the help of industrial designer Michael Hirschmann. In addition, it also makes use of the existing flat screen TV, sound systems and is equipped with it own set of gaming console.
The production model carries a tag of €5,433 ($7,000) and it is definitely every nerd's dream come true. When you are done playing just close up the cockpit and carry on using it as a coffee table.
