• Half Moon Chair by Louis Saul unveiled at iim Cologne 2008

Half_Moon_chair_1.jpg The fabulous Half moon chair by Louis Saul has caught my fancy; I'll get to why in a bit. This splendid piece of relaxation was showcased at the imm Cologne 2008. I am totally sold on the looks of the chair. The design incorporates a built-in skeleton-like bright orange seat with a wing chair. The cushioning is made from sponge rubber and is placed on top of black laminated wood boards. Black and orange is a very striking combination and to quote Ronald Mcdonald 'I'm lovin it!' This is the part where I tell you why the chair is extra special. If you look at it, the design has obviously been inspired by none other than Batman himself? You see it? I see it too. Also, the armchair and ottoman both play the role of a mini library as they can house about two dozen books. Get me the Half Moon chair now, I need to unwind.
