Burberry’s second largest store in America opens up in Chicago

After unveiling its largest ever retail store in London, Burberry has opened the doors of its second-largest store in the U.S. Burberry’s new Chicago flagship store has opened up for business to lure all the well-heeled shoppers right in time for Christmas. Spread over five floors, the store stands out with a custom LED-illuminated black chrome glass facade that flaunts the brand’s iconic print. Inside, the store features floor-to-ceiling digital walls that broadcast runway shows and iPads for assistance. As always, these high-end brands reserve a corner, albeit a large one, for their VIP clients. This store too houses a big client lounge on the second floor. The store also woos its demanding patrons by providing makeup artists for post-flight touch-ups, a tailor for on-sight fittings, and a concierge who will take care of restaurant reservations.

The Chicago store is the only Burberry outlet to retail its small beauty line, featuring top-selling Fresh Glow. It is also the first store in the U.S. to feature samples of Burberry Bespoke, the brand’s line of customizable trench coats that offers more than 12 million possible designs.
