Fire-proof boots by Kris van Assche
I can't imagine why anyone would want fire-proof boots unless they are fire-fighters. But, I reckon fire-proof boots might make you feel just a tad safer. Kris van Assche is the man behind these fire-proof boots and we know he knows his stuff as he has influenced one of men’s major fashion labels in the shortest time, Dior homme. The boots look quite elegant. But that's what he aims for : elegance in a casual piece. He has a rule of success which says "he would save it, if his house was on fire”. Maybe that's why he made these beautifully polished boots. I thought it was more like he had a fantasy about saving a fair maiden from a burning house and playing hero. Either way, the fire-proof boots are hot stuff.
