• Miniature four story Calvin Klein house showcasing some hot products

calvin_klein_DollHouse.jpg Since it's holiday season, we know people love to go all out and create some very eye catching holiday attractions. Architect Joshua Prince-Ramus of Ramus-Ella Architects has done something like this for Calvin Klein on 5th Avenue in New York. It is a mini four-storey house with a landscaped rooftop. However, I don't know if calling it mini is right, as it weighs 1,000 pounds. That's a pretty big miniature. It's suspended in the air from steel hangers and furnished with tiny versions of CK clothing, accessories and home collections including the furniture line that will launch in early 2009. It seems a very novel idea to me. I'd love to go check it out if I lived in New York. Magnusson Klemencic Associates and Situ Studio are the structural engineers and manufacturing collaborators respectively.
