The I-Gucci Grammy Museum Timepiece to be launched in Los Angeles

You don’t have to be an audiophile to enjoy music. And there are times when you can celebrate the magic of sounds without songs as well. That is probably what Gucci has in mind as it adds more models to the Timepieces collection. The new watch comes as an addition to the I-Gucci Grammy watch and jewelry items, which has been designed by Gucci’s Creative Director Frida Giannini. Named as the I-Gucci ‘Grammy Museum’ timepiece, the third watch in the collection is an XXL Sport version of the initial I-Gucci watch. Sporting a “grey colorway” and a huge 49mm dial encased in a polished grey PVD, in a black and yellow combination. The watch bezel reads ‘Grammy Museum Gucci Limited Edition,’ with the Grammy Museum logo at the back of the case.

The timepiece comes with a digital time and dual time-zone display, dual chronograph movement, countdown timer, tachymeter, and two sports settings, including a pedometer and sailing option, which can be used to time regattas. The backlit chronograph comes with an analogical time display “with local time shown in hands rather than digits.” It has been finished with a black rubber strap “overlaid with metallic anthracite Guccissima patent calf leather.”
Sales earned from the watch will be directed to the preservation and restoration program of music milestones developed in partnership with The Grammy Museum.
