Visionaire's 'Surprise' will pop up this month
Visionaire, an art and fashion publication is out with its latest issue and this one is truly dedicated to the art of pop-ups. Don't worry, it won't have a clown popping out. Visionaire is the pioneer in the changing format publication since as early as 1991. 'Surprise', in conjunction with the House of Krug features beautiful pop-ups for contemporary artists and designers. Sophie Calle, Andreas Gursky, Cai Guo-Qiang, Steven Klein, Yayoi Kusama, Alasdair Mclellan, Steven Meisel,Guido Mocafico, Nicola Formichetti/Gareth Pugh, Sølve Sundsbø, and Mario Testino are artists who will have a pop-up in the latest issue. A purple cloth covered case will hold these intricate pop-ups. The Visionaire limited edition issue will have 4000 numbered copies and it is set to release this month for $250 per issue.
