You might have a big plasma television in your bedroom or one even in your bathroom but have you ever thought of one on your mirror. One of the finalists of the Home of the Year this year was this master suite featuring a bathroom that serves up a 37-inch hidden Television plus audio from in-wall and in-ceiling speakers. The exquisite bathroom other than the in-ceiling water resistant speakers also features one in the shower. The entire mirrored wall that has a Television can be viewed through the mirror. The TV is thus totally hidden when not in use. The bathroom Television allows a clear view of the satellite, Blu-ray disc and even the front door.
This is possible only because of a Control4 automation system, which also allows for plenty of tunes and play lists to be piped into the room. Trying to get the angles of the lights right so that there was no glare on the TV was a hideous task. The angles were set in such a way that when the light is switched on the lights automatically position themselves and the Television switches on. Shutting down the same is also very simple, with the push of one button all the lights and the television and audio are turned off.
