Bang & Olufsen launches BeoVision 7 LCD with integrated Blu-ray Disc Player
Bang & Olufsen is infamous for the BeoVision 7-40 television it offers. Now this has just got better with a Blu-ray player and a DVB-HD module. The best part is that we are offered a freedom of choice between a range of placement options and different loudspeakers. As far as loudspeakers go, BeoLab 7-2 is the stereo loudspeaker unit that has been designed as a hi-fi loudspeaker concept and optimized for television sound. Then there is the BeoLab 7-4 that is a center loudspeaker unit perfect for the ultimate surround sound experience with its proprietary Acoustic Lens Technology. Also, it comes with a turn-and-tilt mechanism that is possible via the Beo5 remote control to one’s favorite viewing position.
You will also find the option of wall or table mounts. The colors available are natural aluminum, black, dark grey, red, blue, and gold. The home automation option makes it possible to control and operate home systems with the programmable Beo5 remote control. This includes light settings as well as access to security systems, ventilation, curtains, pool cover, and alarm systems. BeoVision 7-40 with Blu-ray will be available for $13,500 in June 2009.
