Kaleidescape for $4300
Looking at products like this, make me think how far and quick is technology booming. This is a 1080p DVD streamer. It streams the quality of a movie from a cheap pirated version to a retailed one. The basic feature of this DVD streamer is that it plays content without importing it to the server first was also a big draw. The part that wooed me to check-out the product and take pains to walk up to the store was the blue ray that plays real HD. Unfortunately, I was disappointed as this feature shall be updated by 2009 in the streamer.
This shall be sold out for $4300, I think this is expensive, as if we did want to play high quality content without importing it, we would just buy a $99 upscaling DVD player.
