Krell intros Evolution 707 preamp/processor
Krell is out to woo the serious audiophile with their Evolution 707 preamp/processor. It provides for 8.4 channels of audio output, including two-center channel and four subwoofer outputs. It supports HDMI 1.3 plus Dolby and DTS and also nine of Krell's own specialized surround sound modes. It features separate power supplies for digital and analog circuit paths, an on-screen display which gives you detailed information on video outputs and up-conversion of SD video to 1920 x 1080p 60Hz. It should be out pretty soon and will set you back by around $30k.
