The Art Suono is a funky iPod docking station resembling a reel

dwv_iPod_dock_1.jpg We've witnessed tones of iPod docking stations popping up over the years. From simple to bizarre, they've done it all. Here's an addition to an already large collection of these docking stations. This one is the work of David Wiener Ventures. The Art Suono has been coined as 'an iPod luxury product.' It certainly has looks that could kill off all other competition. It has a very funky and unique design. It looks like a movie reel to me. It is made up of a half-pound of aluminum and a two-inch Formula One-style roller bearing. Purely based on design, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Now for the technical part: The unit features DWC-APHEX circuitry, as well as proprietary wireless technology, which allow users to stream music to any audio system. An iPod, computer, CD player, MP3 player or satellite radio can be the source of that music. One piece of information I'd like to share is that DWV's other brand is Ferrari, so you know they mean luxury and expensive flashy products.

The Art Suono doesn't come cheap at $1,499. But if you have that amount lying in spare change, I suggest you go for it.
