The new Noctilux by Photokina has the fastest consumer lens available
Photographers and wannabe photographers all over must be going crazy over the piece of news leaked out by a French Magazine recently. The arrival of the new Noctilux by Photokina has set the world of hotography all topsy turvy, but in a good way. It is taking everyone by a storm with its f/ zero point nine five. While Canon
boasts of 0mm f/1.0L glass, this new baby is the world's fastest major consumer lens available today (f-numbers are logarithmic, so that's over a full exposure stop lower for over double the light of an f/1.4 lens). The camera is more than impressive and it is using Leica's standard M mount. I've seen a couple of shots taken with the previous Noctilux with only candles as the source of light and let me tell you, the pictures are superb. So imagine what the newest Noctilux is capable of.
The new Noctilux by Photokina is going to be available with a price tag of $11,260.
