A $4,000 piggy bank made out of real piglets
If you love animals or ham then you better get off this post right now. But if you’re the curious cat types, then read on. This is Belfast- based creative designer Colin Hart idea of a joke as he puts in 12 month to taxidermy a pig to convert it into a literal piggy bank! On sale online, each of these hideous looking piggy hide banks are priced at a staggering $4,000.
Hart clarified that they don’t kill the piglets but wait for them to die of natural causes to create keepsake them. He goes on to add, "It's all just a bit tongue in cheek really, a bit of fun, we don't expect to make any money out of it. If we do sell one, we will even donate the profits to an animal rights charity."
