• Monica Förster's Lei – A unique office chair tailor-made for women

woman_office_chair.jpg It seems that most office chairs you see are typically designed for men. I'm pretty surprised at finding out that chairs should be made according to sexes. Men and women have distinctly different sitting habits, men tend to slouch against their backrests, while women lean forward or sit on the front of their seats. This makes women far more prone to back pain. Monica Förster, a Swedish designer has found a solution to this problem by making the first task chair exclusively tailored to women called Lei which means 'Her' in Italian. Here you will find a clever concept that has a back cushion that moves backward and forward to support the lumbar region as the user shifts in her seat. It is made with the dimensions of a woman in mind.

For instance, it is smaller than chairs made for men and the arms extend from the back to comfortably fit a woman's shapely hips. So now as woman are catching up with men, they are also getting seats tailored especially for them. The feminists will certainly rejoice at this. You can find out more at OfficeLine.
