Rock your baby to sleep with the Sumai, an automatic cradle
This one is purely for the eyes of rich new parents. I suggest poor new parents don't look unless you want to turn green with envy. This automated baby cradle is every tired parent's dream. A very expensive dream though as it costs over $4,000. The Sumai is pretty cool as it is designed to do the rocking based on an embedded sound sensor that detects crying noises. It starts out with a quick-paced rocking, then slowly settles into the pace of the mom's heartbeat and continues to slow down, gently rocking the baby to sleep. The time frame is of 15 minutes until your baby is sleeping like..well, a baby. If you don't want to buy it, you can rent it for $100 a month.
