Shop at Harrods and rest in style at their rooftop five star hotel soon

It was quite sad when Mohamed al-Fayed decided to sell off his upmarket London store Harrods. But it’s exciting times for the store as the new owners are planning to open a rooftop hotel over the department store. The new Qatar-based owners plan for a five-star hotel for opulent guests that will come with 24-hours room service. If successful, other Harrods stores would follow suit as well. Other plans in the pipeline by consulting firm Boston Consulting Group include taking the Harrods “hotel” brand to several different cities, like Shanghai to begin with.
