• A $100,000 CD in Japan is the most expensive in the world

worlds_most_expensive_cd.jpg Somethings are just ridiculously expensive. I cannot for the life of me imagine how or why anyone would buy an audio CD for $100,000. But here we are, there was a CD that went on sale at the Takashimaya department store at Nhonbashi and it sold for a most staggering amount of 10,000,000 Yen ($ 100,000). The CD might be very ordinary, but it's the case that is special. It's a platinum case that is adorned with about 2 carats of diamonds. Talk about bling. However, if you'd like the CD without this ultra precious case, it will cost you $20.
