Edible Gingerbread Playhouse is the most delicious offering in the Neiman Marcus Christmas Book 2010

Neiman Marcus’s Christmas Book is like a fantasy catalog that I personally enjoy browsing through. Although my bank account says I can’t afford any of the things featured in this high-end catalog , the child in me refuses to let reality play spoilsport. And one thing that definitely evoked a lot of childhood memories and fantasies is the Edible Gingerbread Playhouse that is featured in this year’s Christmas Book. The sumptuous looking edible Gingerbread House is just the type I had always imagined Hansel and Gretel walked into when they wandered in the forest. Unlike the house in the fairytale, which was made by the witch, this edible Gingerbread Playhouse has been made by Dylan’s Candy Bar. Handcrafted of 381 lbs. of gourmet gingerbread and 517 lbs. of royal icing by the expert confectioners at Dylan’s Candy Bar, this playhouse is sure to make for the best Christmas gift for any child.

Standing 6.6 feet high by 5.25 feet wide by 4.1 feet deep, this delicious Playhouse is truly a class apart. Sweets you will find adorned on this delectable Playhouse include giant cookies, lollipops, gummies, mints, and gumdrops. The roof is candy-encrusted, and there is also a lollipop tree inside.
How I wish I could live in this house forever. The Edible Gingerbread Playhouse by Dylan’s Candy Bar is priced at a cool $15,000.
