Hassan Mohammad Makhafa willing to pay $10 million for the shoes aimed at George Bush
We all laughed our hearts out as we watched President Bush dodge the shoes that were aimed at him during a press conference recently. But one man was more than just amused. The man, Hassan Mohammad Makhafa of Saudi Arabia, is willing to offer $10 million to own these shoes. The 60 year old was so amazed after watching the spectacle of journalist Muntadar Al Zaidi flinging his shoes at President Bush, that he now wants to purchase them. So great is his desire that he is willing to sell all his belongings to own this pair of shoes, which he considers to be a 'medal of freedom'. Lets hope this piece of news doesn't trigger off a new auction.
