As little girls, our hearts are set on dolls and as women our hearts yearn for diamonds (at least, it is true for a stereotypical female). Imagine what will happen if we are presented with a doll that is adorned with diamonds. Sheer bliss, right? Tomy Toys, a Japanese toy company has introduced a beautiful diamond doll. They specially produced a doll with the name "Licca–chan" who wears a tiara and gown studded with 881 diamonds, a total of 51.4 karat. Whoa, check out those figures! I would never give my daughter a doll so extravagant. Imagine her going to the playground with it, sure target for mugging. Hold your breath for the price of this frosty, glittering beauty. She is worth $935,000! Yeah, the doll would go straight in a safe. This diamond doll is part of an exhibition of "Girlish Culture" geared toward what they describe as, "happy adult by fashion."
The diamond doll is certainly very 'blinged' up. She looks fabulous, but who wouldn't clad in 881 diamonds?
