The world’s most expensive cheese sandwich is sprinkled with gold dust


Cheese is one milk product that has many lovers across races, genders and age limits. And to cash in on its popularity, Bath-based chef Martin Blunos is all set to craft the world’s most expensive cheese sandwich! Launching at the Frome Cheese Show, which is touted to be the oldest of its kind in Somerset County, Martin Blunos has gone ahead and applied to the Guinness World Records. Made with cheddar cheese blended with white truffles, the $170 sandwich spots finishing touches of sprinkled gold dust. Currently, Cliveden Hotel, Berkshire, holds the most expensive commercially available sandwich, with its $155 ham sandwich.
