Furniture forms an integral part of our lifestyle, home and décor. We have compiled a list of furniture that includes everything right from the traditional patterned couches to the most futuristic sofa sets, many of which are fashioned with Swarovski crystals. Each of them is unique in their design and exudes a spectacular disposition.
No 7 – Gold Office chair for $65,500
The Gold plated Office chair designed by Hadi Teherani was rated as the most expensive office chair in the year 2007 for the price of $65,500 (50,000 Euros) It’s expensive price tag accords to the ottoman as well as the Gold plating. The design of the chair is similar to those on the Japanese Kimono’s and the chair is available in a variety of color options. Even the Gold plating could be substituted for Silver!

No 6 – Flatlift Diamond Furniture for $1, 42,000
The Flatlift Diamond Furniture by Philip Schnizer is a suite of media furniture that includes 50 carats of “diamond dust” sprinkled throughout its finish. It has a pop up TV unit as well as an 80 year old German Ahorn plank integrated into the high gloss front of the furniture. It is painted with 25 handpolished high gloss layers with integrated 50 carats for the special diamond flashing when illuminated. The bar on the left side opens at the touch of a button and so does the 42” Hitachi Full HD Flatscreen. The four drawers to the side open with a tap and there is a Flatlift hifi and DVD components. LED stripes illuminate the furniture’s base and backside. There is a choice 1.4million colors for this furniture!
No 5 – Swarovski Furniture Collection by Bretz
This is a striking line of Swarovski encrusted upholstered furniture from the popular German furniture house, Bretz. The bespoke collection features unique crystals measuring 18mm in diameter that weigh 15ct. Out of the array of furniture products, the Marilyn sofa and the Pompadour high armchair are nice to look at. They are available in shades of Red, Gold, White and Black.
No 4 – The Midas touched furniture by Philip Plein
The Philip Plein designed home décor comprises of a royal nest with sofa, an armchair, a coffee table, a side table, a lamp shade and cushions, all of which are gold embellished. As for the texture, it a Crocodile skin and wood coated with metallic yellow shade, all of which are so shimmery that they are almost blinding.
No 3 – Phyllis Morris luxury furniture
This is a company which makes custom made furniture for celebrities and billionaires like Howard Hughes, Aristotle Onassis, Lana Turner, Barbra Streisand and Cher. The Versailles bed pictured above has been created and decorated in silver and 23k white and yellow gold leaf.
No 2 – Swarovski Crystal studded furniture by Finkeldei
The Swarovski Crystal studded furniture collection by Finkeldei in shades of Ruby Red and English Purple is undoubtedly a beguiling collection to be adorning the living room of any house. The German luxury manufacturer offers more than 50 models with sparkling crystals to its 2009 collection. The collection also includes a line of exquisite tables, cabinets and sideboards to go with the principal furniture.
No 1 – Diamond and Swarovski studded Furniture Collection by Edra
Hypothetically last in the list but first in our catalog, the Diamond Furniture Collection by Edra is truly a magnificent piece. It manages to steal the show with its diamond collection studded with thousands of crystals. Kevlar, a special high resistant fabric is cut and studded with Swarovski crystals using a special glue sensitive to high temperatures, ensuring their adhesiveness for ages. The underscore of the complete Swarovski collection is the Diamond Sofa which is nothing but a Flap Sofa studded with more than 750,000 Swarovski crystals.
Special Mention/Honorary Mention –
Apart from these, there are a couple of furniture items that couldn’t make it to the list, but they did flaunt aesthetics that appealed to us. First is the Florentine Bed with pop up flat screen plasma TV. As you can see it is a grand Renaissance fantasy bed that has intricate carvings.
Another one that has a certain visual appeal to it is the ostentatious diamond sofa by Samanta Snidaro and Andrea Fino of Sand & Birch design studio. On the wide aluminum stripe, are 160 crystals of Swarovski. The diamond sofa is produced in numbered edition of 100 pieces.
