AB Yachts shipyards (which is part of Fipa group) has definitely hit the right cord with luxury lovers with their latest model the AB 116 superyacht. The model summarizes the new AB Yachts style concept of sport poweryachts, with a slender looking hull, smooth, tapering, and winning lines. A luxurious yacht, it will surely impress you with its plush interiors that are done in natural materials, like wenge and durmast, put together with subtle fabrics and leathers. The main deck is designed in a loft style, and contains a large inviting saloon, that features a wide U-shaped sofa which faces a large 50” TV, hidden in a beautiful cabinet. The large windows help to create a spacious atmosphere. For meal times there is a large dining table for ten guests and for entertainment there is a bar with a fridge, ice maker and sink.

The pilothouse is separated from the salon by means of a panel put in the centre of the area. The panel remains at half the height of the room, allowing the crew to have a 360° visibility of the exterior from any point on the main deck.

The owner’s cabin is located behind the guest accommodation, and boasts of a large bright suite, a dressing room, and a large bathroom. There are two additional double guest cabins, and a comfortable twin cabin downstairs. There is also a single cabin. The crew quarters too are done up lavishly and feature three cabins and bathrooms, a fully accessorized galley, and a small crew mess. Behind the cockpit there is a beautiful sun bed that can be doubled as a sofa as well. Forward of the deckhouse, there is a large lounging area. The flybridge of this superyacht boasts of large sun pads, another al fresco dining area, as well as a steering station for easy maneuvering in port

The 116 superyacht is built using materials borrowed from the aerospace industry that ensure light weight, yet high strength and solidity. Powered by three MTU 16V2000 M93 CR engines, producing 2400 HP each, this superyacht with 3 MJP waterjets achieves a maximum speed of 46 knots.
