Anastasia, a $200 million yacht steals the show at Monaco Yacht Show
How I'd love to own a yacht and sail from continent to continent, but till that is a reality, I'll just have to
read bits of information like the one I'm about to tell you. Monte Carlo hosted the Monaco Yacht show last
weekend and believe me when I say it had some yachts to kill for. The yachts there were worth $4.5 billion,
that's a whole lot of moolah. What's even more fascinating is that of the 98 boats on show, not a single one
was lesser than 100ft. Anastasia, however stood a mile above the rest. A real show stopper this yacht. It is
multistory, $200 million and 248ft long. it is made by Oceanco a Russian shipyard for a Russiun billionaire. The buyer is anonymous for now, but everyone's bet is on Vladimir Potanin who is the 25th richest man in the world and is said to be worth $19.3 billion. The Anastasia features six decks, luxe quarters for 12 passengers and 20 crew members including a duplex master suite, a ten seat cinema, a discotheque with a laser light display and smoke machine, an artificial coral reef and 800-gallon fish tank, a swimming pool with a transparent wall, a sunbathing platform which converts into a stage for live music, a library upholstered in crocodile skin, and a hanger full of speedboats and jetskis. Wow, it is like you never ever need to step out of that yacht again. I want to be able to get on it. Anyone of you know Mr. Vladimir?
Anastasia sounds like a dream yacht, I wonder what the others there were like. But with a yacht as fabulous as
this, it tends to steal every other boat's thunder.
