George Barris doesn't have the nicest reputation as far as his auto making skills go. However, this time he has surprised the world with a pair of kind of hideous "Sonny and Cher" Ford Mustangs. Barris was given these babies to make the most of the popularity of the new singing act. The cars are modified identically when you take into consideration the sheetmetal perspective. This includes a twin grille, Frenched Thunderbird tail lights, relocated and flush-mounted door handles, rolled and flared fenders, faux hood scoops and 40 coats of hippy-tastic paint. However, the interiors are not similar at all. The Sonny car comes with "Bobcat fur," antique leather and funky suede. Cher's car has gotten Ermine fur and Scottish leather upholstery, trimmed in pink suede and a white fur trunk.

The entire effect seems kind of tacky to be honest. I can't imagine riding in either of the cars. The cars are being sold as a pair and the price tag reads $400,000. Yeah right, this is trailer park stuff.
