Lamborghini touted to launch the Jota by 2012
After a series of concepts, Lamborghini is all set to bring to the world a classy a new model in 2012 which will be known as Jota. Originally touted to be a replacement for the Murcielago, the Jota seems to be in a league of its own. Lighter than its predecessor, the Jota will feature a direct injection V12 engine that will be worth of 700hp. The Jota will also feature an aluminum space frame, roof and doors.
Taking inspiration from the Reventón and the Estoque, the Jota will also come with a carbon fiber body. Rumors also suggest that a new wheel drive system will be co-developed by Swedish company Haldex and Lamborghini.
