Mercedes-Benz CLK63 AMG Black Series shines in silver

When I first read about this latest Black Series from Mercedes, I got myself visualizing a black beauty akin to the Phantom Black from Rolls Royce. Shown for the first time at the 2007 New York Auto Show as part of AMG's 40th birthday celebration, the CLK63 Black Series is unquestionably the smartest street-legal car from the maker. However, this Mercedes-Benz CLK63 AMG Black Series comes as a surprise package drenched in silver. Basically it is a road-going version of Mercedes-Benz's F1 pace car, packing a 500-hp version of the German carmaker's 6.3-liter V8 engine and is capable of 0 to 60 mph in just 4.1 seconds with a top speed of 186 mph.
