The GT Golden Bike is so cool, that you can't buy it, you have to earn it. The only way to do this is by being the fastest amateur in the Golden Race Series, which consists of 7 cross country mountain bike races. So whoever wins that title not only becomes the proud owner of the GT Golden Bike, but also receives an all-expense-paid trip for two to the next race in the Golden Bike Series, a $250 Sugoi gift certificate and a swag bag of cycling gear. To keep the bike, you have to keep sure you win the races again and again.

You can choose between GT's Zaskar hardtail or the Marathon, both of which feature a golden monocoque carbon fiber frame and top-of-the-line XTR components. So start practicing.
