Porsche Panamera Diesel coming soon
![]()
Even fuels are divided on class and sector and petrol has always had the upper hand when it came to providing energy for the uber luxurious wheels. Porsche, however, feels that it might be time to change this reputation and has introduced a diesel Panamera right after its diesel Cayenne. The vehicle will feature a Porsche-tuned version of Volkswagen’s 3.0-liter common-rail turbo-diesel engine that will produce 247 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque. Thanks to its eight-speed automatic stop-start capability, the car will be able to race to 62 miles in just 6.8 seconds and can travel to up to 745 miles in a full tank. The car will cost $119,000 in Germany including VAT. No plans announced yet on a US release.
