Porsche Panamera unveiled at Shanghai Auto Show
Power is also transmitted to the rear wheels as an option by Porsche’s seven-speed Doppelkupplungsgetriebe (PDK) double-clutch gearbox. The Panamera 4S too boasts of the same powerful engine but due to the additional AWD traction, it only needs 5.0 seconds to reach the 100km/h mark. Meanwhile, the Panamera Turbo, boasts of a twin-turbo 4.8L V8 engine with a healthy 500hp (368kW) on tap. When equipped with the PDK the car can accelerate from 0-100km/h in just 4.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 303km/h. all models will be available from Porsche Traction Management, and customers will also have the option to choose from the unique new high-volume adjustable air suspension which offers a various performance options including a Sports Mode that lowers the car even further, stiffens effective spring rates and lowers the center of gravity.
A beauty, this car is definitely a must have for luxury car enthusiasts. The Panamera S will start at $89,800, while the AWD 4S will start at $93,800 and the flagship Turbo from $132,600. This beauty is expected to hit European markets by September and will be available in the US markets a month after that.
