Ruby Princess is the newest jewel in the Princess Cruises fleet. This magnificent ship arrived into Fort Lauderdale surrounded by a spray of ruby colored water from two fire boats. The launch of this ship is rather grand and involves a lot of festivities which have a very romantic theme. America's famous reality couple, Trista and Ryan Sutter of The Bachelorette will name the ship on November 6 in honor of their fifth anniversary. The romance only grows from here as a couple will also tie the knot during the naming ceremony with Gavin Macleod giving away the bride. Trista and Ryan will be present as wedding attendants making this occasion extra special. The romance in the air is evident as the Princess will continue to host events like 'Ruby Red Tie' gala and a two night preview cruise for many VIP guests. Since, the theme color is ruby, this festivities will remind you of Valentine's Day. It will be perfect for honeymoon couples. A very sweet event is the renewal of vows for all couples on November 7. After giving the guests a romance filled get away, Ruby Princess will make her way back to Port Everglades on November 8 and set on a seven day long inaugural cruise to the Western Caribbean. The ship is ultra luxurious and can hold 3,080 passengers. There are many tempting features such as a piazza-style atrium featuring small-bite eateries along with a line-up of street performers. Other elaborate eateries include Sabatini's Italian restaurant and the Crown Grill steak house and an adults only hang out called the Sanctuary. To make your sailing experience perfect there is also Movies Under the Stars poolside movie screen, Personal Choice Dining featuring traditional or Anytime seating, multiple entertainment venues, a relaxing Asian-style Lotus Spa with fitness center, an extensive children and teen's center, and a wedding chapel.
